8/12: 4 new polls today in Florida, Alaska, Kentucky and North Carolina. Only Alaska changes color as it moves from leaning to barely McCain. Sen. Obama had small gains in 3 of the 4 states, but Sen. McCain's large gain in Kentucky more than offset them. Sen. McCain has only lost in the popular votes twice in August so far.
