Connecticut

9/21: 2 new polls cut into Sen. Obama's lead although Connecticut remains safely on his side. 3 consecutive polls here show his lead between 12 and 16 points.
8/4: Rasmussen's new poll shows Sen. Obama ahead by 16. This is little changed from their last poll 5 weeks ago. Sen. Obama remains ahead by 22 in my projection as a result.
7/3: DailyKos.com/Research2000 (D) released a new poll this morning. Sen. Obama maintains his 20+ point lead. Connecticut (like New York) has been over-polled in recent days, as Connecticut has proven to be not competitive.
7/2: 2 new polls were released today, (Rasmussen and Quinnipiac), showing Sen. Obama with 17 and 21 point leads respectively. While Quinnipiac had a similar result in its last poll in March. Rasmussen is showing a 14 point difference with their last poll. It appears that last month's poll was an outlier and Sen. Obama's lead has grown here to over 20 points.
6/20: According to the latest polling data, Connecticut is considerably closer than it has been in recent years. While Obama is still in the lead, 3 points is a precarious position with Sen. Lieberman (I) backing the McCain campaign. Connecticut would be a huge pick up for the Republicans.
