Electoral Math

8/22: 5 new polls today in Kansas, Michigan, California, Tennessee and Indiana. Only one change on the ma as Michigan is moved from barely to leaning Obama. This is the first move in his direction in quite a while and confirms (at least in part) what I had said yesterday about how we are likely to see an up-tick for him through next week (the convention bump). The race will get wild and a lot of strange things are likely to appear in polls over the next several weeks. The map may change colors more often and will be mid-September before it settles down.
For those who are loyal visitors, I apologize for the tardiness of my posts tonight, (it's actually 3 AM on the 23rd where I am), but it's my anniversary so I deserve a little slack.
