9/22: Sen. Obama's lead is 21 in my projection after 3 new polls show him in the lead by 16-20 points. Illinois is safely Obama's.
8/18: Rasmussen conducted a new poll in Illinois showing Sen. Obama ahead by 15. Last month his lead was shown at 13 in the same poll and as a result, Sen. Obama's lead expands slightly. Illinois remains safely Obama's.
7/10: Rasmussen has run a new poll in Illinois for the first time in several months and while Sen. Obama maintains a large lead, it has shrunk considerably from previous polling resulting in a shift of nearly 240,000 net votes for John McCain.
6/20: Illinois, a traditional blue state and the home state of Barack Obama, is likely one of the bluest of the states in 2008.
