Popular Vote Trend

8/24: 9 new polls today in 8 states. While the net gain in the electoral vote for Sen. McCain is 10, his popular vote gain today is only 67,000 votes. This is the first gain he has had in the last 5 days and 6 of the 9 polls were taken between the 13th and the 15th of August. They more accurately represent what was happening 2 weeks ago than what is happening now. More importantly, the results in all 6 of those states appear to be outliers. This could be because of sample size or weighting, but I am very suspicious of all of Mason-Dixon's releases today.
