Electoral Math

9/4: Two new polls today in Alaska and North Dakota, by partisan groups, Republican and Democratic respectively, and one change on the map. Alaska is moved from Barely to Leaning McCain after a new poll there shows Sen. McCain ahead by 24. While Gov. Palin is wildly popular in Alaska, I'm looking for confirmation of this poll as a Democratic pollster showed Sen. Obama ahead by 5 there only 4 weeks ago. There will likely be very little polling tomorrow but we may begin to pick up a few over the weekend as all pollsters scramble to find out which candidate "won" the conventions, since they were so close to one another. From here on out, the pedal will be to the floor as we have reached the 2 month mark until Election Day.
