Electoral Math

9/9: 9 new polls in 9 states all show gains for Sen. McCain. 3 changes on the map all in Sen. McCain's direction. First, Montana shifts from barely to leaning McCain after a Rasmussen poll showed him ahead by 11. In New Jersey, a new FDU poll shows Sen. Obama ahead by only 6, cutting into his lead far enough to move the Garden State from safely to leaning Obama. Finally, in North Carolina where there was some thought that Sen. Obama could compete, a new Survey USA poll shows Sen. McCain ahead by an astonishing 20 points. While this poll may be an outlier, it is a clear indication, that the South might be out of play now. North Carolina moves from barely to leaning McCain, but another poll like this and it may shift again. Tonight, I'll post the state updates.
