Electoral Math

9/22: 17 new polls in 14 states make only one change in the map. In Minnesota, a new Rasmussen poll shows Sen. Obama ahead by 8. As a result, Minnesota is moved back to barely Obama and with its 10 electoral votes puts him at 269. On the flipside, a new University of New Hampshire polls shows Sen. McCain ahead by 2. While New Hampshire is still far too close to call, Sen. McCain has taken over a very slim lead there in my projection (0.31%). Sen. McCain now has leads of less than 2% in all 5 of the toss-up states (New Hampshire, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana and Nevada), meaning that if the election were held today, there would be a significant chance of an electoral tie.
