Wisconsin

9/28: 6 new polls have been released showing Sen. Obama ahead by 1 to 7 points. Wisconsin is moved from leaning to barely Obama, although there seems to be a trend moving back toward Sen. Obama in the last several polls.

9/9: Strategic Vision (R) released a new poll today in Wisconsin showing Sen. Obama ahead by only 3. This is the 4th consecutive poll showing Sen. Obama's lead at 6 or less. For now Wisconsin remains leaning Obama, but once Quinnipiac's poll from July is removed it will likely shift to barely status.

8/13: Strategic Vision (R) released a new poll in Wisconsin today showing Sen. Obama ahead by 5. This confirms the results of the 2 polls released last week. For now, Wisconsin remains leaning Obama, although any new poll with similar results to today's poll could shift the sate to barely status if it removes Quinnipiac's poll from July.
8/7: 2 polls were released in Wisconsin today. Both show a narrowing of Sen. Obama's lead. As a result, Sen. McCain gains about 2.7% (89,000 votes) and Wisconsin is moved from safely to leaning Obama. 7/24: Quinnipiac released a new poll today in Wisconsin showing Sen. Obama ahead by 11. Little change overall, but at 10.68%, Wisconsin is at risk of losing its safe Obama status.
7/11: Today's Rasmussen poll in Wisconsin shows Sen. Obama continuing his lead in Wisconsin. With this poll his lead actually narrows by about 1.5 points. Wisconsin remains safely Democratic. 6/26: Quinnipiac released a new poll in Wisconsin showing Obama with a 13 point lead. The last 3 polls in Wisconsin have shown Obama making large gains and as a result, Wisconsin becomes a safe Obama state. 6/20: Wisconsin has produced narrow wins for the Democrats in the last several elections, but appears to be breaking harder toward Obama in 2008.
