Electoral Math

9/18: Sorry for the late update. Last night I had a congressional candidate at my home and have been unable to update over the last few days now. I'm working to get caught up today (and likely will continue tomorrow) as this week was very busy for both myself personally and polling in general. Welcome to the fall of a presidential campaign. On Thursday, there were 29 polls released in 20 states resulting in 4 color changes on the map and 3 in the electoral college. Sen. Obama loses 25 electoral votes today in Pennsylvania and New Hampshire as new polling suggests his lead in both states has dropped under 2 points. Additionally, he gains 9 electoral votes in Colorado as his lead there has begin to expand again slightly. The net result cuts his electoral count to 248, only 1 more than Sen. McCain's 247.
